Worst Traffic Congestion in Canada - #1 Vancouver

Here's another reason why you should live in UBC, if you work or go to school in the UBC campus.  

 

Amsterdam-based GPS/navigation company, TomTom recently released their fifth annual traffic index, with Vancouver coming in 20th worldwide and 1st in Canada, receiving a 35% Congestion Level, the increase in overall travel time when compared from a free flow situation.  

 

The most congested cities in Canada are:

 

1. Vancouver (world rank 20)

 

2. Toronto  (world rank 47)

 

3. Ottawa (world rank 59)

 

4. Montreal (world rank 75)

 

5. Edmonton (world rank 97)

 

6. Calgary (world rank 101)
